Goucher Men's And Women's Lacrosse Doubleheader On Wednesday Cancelled Due To Forecasted Cold Weather

BALTIMORE, Md. – The Goucher College men's and women's lacrosse doubleheader, originally scheduled for Wednesday, has been cancelled due to the weather forecasting frigid temperatures during the evening hours.

The Gopher women's lacrosse team was schedule to host Notre Dame of Maryland University at 4:30 p.m. while the Goucher men's lacrosse squad was scheduled to welcome Messiah College to Beldon Field at 7:30 p.m. Both games will not be rescheduled. 

The women's lacrosse team has won three-straight matches, including a 23-5 decision against Randolph College on Friday. The Gophers return to action at Southern Maryland on Saturday at 4 p.m. The squad will return home to host Bryn Mawr College on, Thursday, March 14 at 4:30 p.m.

The men's lacrosse team is coming off an 11-10 victory against Lebanon Valley on Saturday. The game against Messiah was supposed to be the start of a four-game homestand, but now will start a three-game homestand in the span of five days on Saturday against Delaware Valley College. Game time is 1 p.m.
