HOW IT HAPPENED: The Gophers struck first, at 3 minutes and 12 seconds into the game on a goal by sophomore forward Camryn Mackey (Washington DC), off an assist from junior midfielder Sara Kast (Fresno, CA) to take an early 1-0 lead.
