BALTIMORE, Md. – Led by freshmen Megan Kelleher and Claudia Roller (Tucson, Ariz./Sahuaro) along with the aid of Alyssa Hodnik (Pittsburgh, Pa./Kiski Area), Goucher College scored twice in the first 18 minutes and held on for a 2-1 victory against Hood College in non-conference women's soccer action on Sunday.
Kelleher, who scored the decisive goal in the 94th minute in a 1-0 win against Gwynedd Mercy University on Friday, knocked in the first goal of the day against the Blazers for her second collegiate tally. Hodnik played a role in the Gophers second goal on another free kick. Hodnik's free kick near midfield and nailed a pass down the center of the field to find Roller, who then finished the job for her first collegiate score at 17:10.
