Lily Shaffer is a sophomore on the women's soccer team. She has recorded one goal and three assists for five points in her career. Shaffer scored her first collegiate goal in a 3-2 win against Wesley on September 25, 2018 and then dished out two assists in a 2-1 win against Notre Dame on September 24 and an helper in a 2-0 win against Juniata on October 12 in her sophomore campaign.

- Why did you decide to attend (school)?
I picked Goucher because of its location and proximity to my home along with the amazing people I met when I was on my visit.
- What makes being a Division III student-athlete special?
Being a Division III student-athlete is special because although it is still a very competitive level of athletics, athletes are able to put their studies before their sport.
- What is the best advice you can give another athlete?
Make sure you are getting enough sleep and managing your time wisely.
