TOWSON, Md. - Five different players scored, with Madison Ybarra and Natalie Voorhees scoring two goals apiece, as the Goucher College women's soccer team upended Notre Dame of Maryland University 7-0 Saturday afternoon at Beldon Field.
- Ybarra scored for Goucher (2-4-1) just 5:48 into the contest, beating Gator (1-4) keeper Leah Hasberry.
- Just under six minutes later, another Ybarra goal made it 2-0.
- Voorhees extended the lead to 3-0 in the 19th minute, with Nora Neall assisting.
- Abby Lee made it 4-0 on an assist from Voorhees at the 23:53 mark.
- Grace Uhler upped the lead to 5-0 3:39 into the second half.
- Neall joined the scoring column for the second straight game with her goal in the 69th minute.
- Voorhees closed out the scoring with just under 13 minutes to play.
- Goucher outshot the Gators 49-3 and took 14 corner kicks to NDMU's one.
- Hansberry made 24 saves for Notre Dame, which dropped its fourth straight.
- Ybarra and Neall scored for the second straight game, while Lee, Voorhees and Uhler all notched their first collegiate goals.
- Madison Gutierrez played the first 61 minutes in goal for Goucher and made one save, before Olivia Jackson made one save over the final 28:43.
- Goucher's seven goals were the most in a game since a 9-0 win against the Gators in 2021.
