Bio

Barb Foster joined the Goucher women's soccer coaching staff as a graduate assistant in the fall of 2022.

Foster, a native of Baltimore and graduate of Sparrows Point High School, enjoyed a decorated three-year career at perennial Division III power Messiah University in Grantham, Pennsylvania.  As a senior she was a Third Team D3soccer.com All-America defender and during her career she was a three-time MAC Commonwealth First Team All-Conference selection.  The Falcons claimed the program's sixth national championship in Foster's senior season and posted a three-year mark of 58-4-9.

Prior to Messiah, Foster spent her freshman season at Lancaster Bible College, where she was a First Team All-North East Athletic Conference selection for the Chargers.  She totaled five goals and five assists and helped lead LBC to a 16-7 record.

Foster graduated from Messiah in the spring of 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries.
