Women's Tennis Closes Out Spring Break Trip
The Goucher College women’s tennis team (2-3, Landmark 0-0) was swept by Schreiner University, 9-0, on Thursday afternoon to close out their Spring Break trip.
ORLANDO, FL – The Goucher College women's tennis team (2-3, Landmark 0-0) was swept by Schreiner University, 9-0, on Thursday afternoon to close out their Spring Break trip.
Schreiner took home all three doubles matches. Junior Mackenzie Donahue (Bronx, NY) and sophomore Ali Tomasevich (Harleysville, PA) fought to an 8-2 loss for the Gophers
First-year Mandile Mpofu (Harare, Zimbabwe) and senior Alice Goldstein-Plesser (Durham, NC) battled their opponents at first and second singles. However, both were topped 6-3, 6-4.
