Egan-Brooks Named Landmark Conference Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week
Junior Miranda Egan-Brooks (Brooklyn, N.Y.) of the Goucher College women’s tennis team has been named the Landmark Conference’s Athlete of the Week for the period ending March 25.

Egan-Brooks, who earns the Landmark Athlete of the Week award for the first time in her career, led the charge for the Gophers in their lone match on the week, a 9-0 win at the College of St. Elizabeth on Friday afternoon.
In the win, Egan-Brooks and doubles partner sophomore Ali Gorson-Morrow (Broomall, Pa.) coasted to an 8-0 victory. It was more of the same for Egan-Brooks in singles action, as she rolled to a 6-0, 6-2 win at number two singles.
For the year, Egan-Brooks has won three singles matches and a pair of doubles matches, as the Gophers enter this week with a 2-4 record for the 2017-18 season.
Goucher returns to the courts on Thursday, as the Gophers host Immaculata at home. First serve is set for 3:30 p.m.
