Goucher Places 29 Student-Athletes On Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll

BALTIMORE, Md. – Goucher College had 29 student-athletes that played a spring sport named to the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll. The Honor Roll recognizes all spring student athletes who have reached sophomore standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher.

The Gophers women's tennis team had all eight players on their roster eligible for the honor roll named to the team: Meera Balasubramanian (Bel Air, Md./Oldfields School), Ali Gorson-Morrow (Broomall, Pa./Barrack Hebrew Academy), Morgan Hartman (Woodstock, Vt./Woodstock Union), Sara Healy (Waterford, Va./Woodgrove), Kyoko Kinoshita (Tokoyo, Japan/Tilton School [N.H.]), Katie Marzerka (Wolfeboro, N.H./Kingswood Regional), Mandile Mpofu (Harare, Zimbabwe/Arundel School), Ali Tomasevich (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton).

Goucher also had nine student-athletes that were named to the honor roll for the second time after also garnering the honor in 2017-18: Gorson-Morrow, Marzerka, Mpofu, Darby Bauer (Perkiomenville, Pa./Boyertown Area), Kiana Haskin (Waitsfield, Vt./Academy of the Holy Cross), Mike Herman (Prague, Czech Republic/Gymnazium Nova Porg), Grant LaSorda (Collegeville, Pa./Germantown Academy), Katarina Molchen (Morgantown, Pa./Twin Valley), Gabrielle Umstead (Chadds Ford, Pa./Garnet Valley), Matt Woodson (Timonium, Md./McDonough) 

In addition, six student-athletes were selected to the honor all three years they were eligible: Balasubramanian, Tomasevich, Elliot Diehl (York, Pa./York Suburban), Mason Gorman (Boise, Idaho/Eagle), Maddie Hernandez (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington Central), Jordan Tice (Batavia, Ill./Batavia).
