TOWSON, Md. - The Goucher College Gophers (5-7 Overall; 1-2 Conference) hosted the Messiah University Falcons (5-5 Overall; 1-0 Conference) at the Schroedl Tennis Center. The Gophers defeated the Falcons 6-1.

The No. 2 singles team of Eliza Abady and Meline Siggen defeated their opponents in a tiebreaker: 7-6(7-3).
Shelby Meek and Sarai Oquendo Silveira secured the doubles point after winning 7-5.

Siggen took down her opponent in straight sets in the No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-4.
In the No. 3 singles, Ingraham won 6-4, 6-3.
Abady joined in the singles victory, securing the win 6-2, 6-4 in the No. 4 spot.
Meek held her opponent almost winless, only allowing one game, (6-1, 6-0).
In the No. 6 singles, Oquendo Silveira battled with her opponent, before winning 7-5, 6-3.

The Gophers travel to face Juniata in a Landmark Conference matchup set to begin at 1pm on Saturday, April 5th.
