TOWSON, Md. - The Goucher Women's Tennis team (7-7 Overall; 3-2 Conference) hosted the University of Scranton (4-9 Overall; 3-2 Conference) Sunday afternoon. The Gophers came out on top 5-2 in the Landmark Conference matchup.
- In the No. 1 doubles match, Natalia Navarro and Lucy Ingraham won 6-2.
- Eliza Abady and Meline Siggen secured the doubles point for the Gophers after going through a tiebreaker 7-6(7-2).
- Siggen won the No. 2 singles match in straight sets, 6-1, 6-4.
- In the No. 4 singles, Abady was able to pull out the win after dropping the first set, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.
- Meek won the No. 5 match in straight sets (6-3, 6-3).
- Sarai Oquendo Silveira fought off her opponent to win 6-4, 6-2.
- The women travel to face Catholic on Tuesday, April 15th at 4pm.
