Blazek led the Gophers on the night, as she posted one of the best performances in program history in the pole vault, clearing in nine feet, 6.25 inches (the second-best mark in indoor program history). The mark put her in a tie for first in the event overall, in which she was defeated in a jump-off with Ryleigh Edmonds of Susquehanna.
Goldrich, meanwhile, was third in the 3000-meter run with a time of 11:22.62 and fifth in the one-mile run in 5:39.57. Goldrich's time in the 3k was the fourth fastest time in the event in indoor program history, while the mark in the mile was the seventh fastest, all-time.
Elsewhere, first-year Kennedy Lowry qualified for the finals of the 60-meter run, finishing in sixth with a time of 8.91 in the finals. Rounding out the top performers on the evening for the women's team was fellow first-year Mikayla Hinnant who finished eighth in the weight throw (25 feet, 9.25 inches) and ninth in the shot put (27 feet, 11.50 inches).
The Goucher College women's track & field team will now be idle for the Holiday season, returning to action on January 20 at the Collegeville Classic held at Ursinus.
