Kent, Gunter Pace Women’s Track & Field at George Mason Patriot Games

Posting the highest finish in an event on the afternoon was sophomore Natalie Kent (Media, Pa./Strath Haven), who finished fifth in the shot put with a toss of 36 feet, 3.50 inches.
Finishing closely behind Kent in the shot put was fellow sophomore Taylor Gunter (Laurel, Md./Sand Spring Friends School), who was eighth in the event with a 34 foot, three-inch effort. Gunter was also ninth in the weight throw (39 feet, seven inches), while Kent was 11th (36 feet, 8.50 inches).
On the track, sophomore Anna Gallina (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) was 16th in the 200-meter dash after crossing the finish line 28.73, while fellow sophomore Victoria Wheeler (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) was 14th in the 400-meter dash in 1:11.26.
The Goucher College women's track & field team continues their indoor season on Saturday, as they head back to Susquehanna for the S.U. Challenge.
