Gunter earned this week's award after a banner performance at the Albright Invitational on Saturday, as the Gophers continued the indoor portion of their schedule.

Next up for Gunter was the weight throw, in which she was victorious with a 44 foot, 7.4-inch toss. The mark was the seventh best all-time in program history, as well.
Gunter's win in the weight throw was her first of the year, as she helped the Gophers finish seventh overall in the event with her efforts.
Gunter and the rest of the Goucher College women's track & field team return to action on Friday, as they travel to Selinsgrove, Pa. for the Susquehanna Invitational. Action gets underway at 4 p.m.
