Kent Sets New Goucher Standard in Opening Spring Meet
First-year Natalie Kent (Media, PA) broke the Goucher College all-time record in the discus throw during the opening spring meet of the season with a distance of 33.26 meters.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA – First-year Natalie Kent (Media, PA) broke the Goucher College all-time record in the discus throw during the opening spring meet of the season with a distance of 33.26 meters.
Kent finished second in the discus throw, and added a third place finish in shot put with a throw of 10.42 meters.
Goucher's Top Performers:
- Sophomore Lexi Stewart (Laurel, MD) had three top-three finishes on the day. She placed second in the 200m (26.76) and the long jump (4.76m) while taking bronze in the 100m with a time of 12.89.
- First-year athlete, Gabby Blazek (New Orleans, LA) made her Goucher debut, placing second in the pole vault with a score of 2.59 meters.
- Senior Laura Williams (Verona, NJ) posted a third-place finish in the high jump (1.40m), landing 9th all-time at Goucher in the event. She also went on to run a time of 17.10 in the 110m hurdles and reaching 4.14m in the long jump.
- First-year, Anna Gallina (Whitehall, PA), finished 7th in the 400m with a time of 1:06.48.
