MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – Sophomore Lexi Stewart (Laurel, Md.) and freshman Natalie Kent (Media, Pa.) continued to lead the Gophers and the conference at the Messiah College invite held on Saturday.
Kent continued to dominate the Goucher College record book in the discus throw, breaking her personal record for the fourth consecutive week. Her distance of 37.31m earned her second place in the event.
Stewart earned two fourth place finishes for Goucher. Her first event was the long jump where she leapt for a distance of 4.98m. She supplemented the performance with a 200m dash time of 26.37 – the 10th fastest time in Goucher College history in the event.
Goucher's Top Performances:
- First-year pole vaulter Gabby Blazek (New Orleans, LA) took home fourth place in the event with a height of 2.60m.
- Senior Laura Williams (Verona, NJ) posted the ninth fastest time in Goucher history during the preliminaries of the 100m hurdles with a time of 16.11. She returned for the finals and took sixth place with a time of 17.09.
- First-year Anna Gallina (Whitehall, Pa.) took 10th in the 200m dash with a personal best time of 27.65.

"A great day for the women's team as nine student-athletes had personal bests on the day. It will help us a get ready for a big test next week at the Greyhound Invitational on Friday and Saturday."
