Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Gears Up for 2018 Landmark Conference Outdoor Championships

On the weekend, Goucher has several competitors seeded high in events entering the weekend. In the women's 100-meter dash, sophomore Anna Gallina (Whitehall, Pa.) is seeded fourth entering prelims, while first-year Devon Esslinger (Las Cruces, N.M.) is slotted fifth in the men's 110-meter hurdles entering the weekend.
Goucher's women's 4x100 relay team is seeded third entering Sunday morning's finals, while in field events, sophomore Natalie Kent (Media, Pa.) is slotted second in the women's shot put, which will be contested on Sunday afternoon. Kent is also seeded third in the discus (Saturday at 11:30 a.m.), while teammate and fellow sophomore Taylor Gunter (Laurel, Md.) is seeded fourth in the shot put and sixth in the hammer throw.
