Goucher Track And Field Posts Several Top-10 Performances At York Twilight Meet
YORK, Pa. – Goucher College track and field posted several Too-10 finishes at the York College Twilight Meet on Wednesday.
Mikayla Hinnant (Waldorf, Md./Westlake) posted a pair of personal bests on her way to a fourth-place standing in the discus (33.25m) and the shot put (10.21m).
Darby Bauer (Perkiomenville, Pa./Boyertown Area) finished fifth In the hammer (38.40m) and seventh in the discus (32.94m) while Brandon Julot (Baltimore, Md./The SEED School of Maryland) was fifth in the shot put with a career-best outdoor throw (11.80m) and ninth in the discus (31.64m).
Sydney Smith (Falls Church, Va./George Mason HS) placed fifth in the long jump (4.62m) and ninth in the 200m with a career-best time (28.19) while Hannah Brogan (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) was sixth in both the 800m (2:45.09) and the 1500m (5:51.86).
Joel Gladney (Perry Hall, Md./Perry Hall) finished sixth in the discus (34.14m) and Devon Esslinger (Las Cruces, N.M./Las Cruces) was eighth in the 400m (56.65) while Jennifer Alves (Rockville, Md./Richard Montgomery) was ninth in the 400m (1:09.01) and 20 in the 200m (31.27).
Goucher returns to action on Saturday at the Gallaudet University Invitational.
