TOWSON, Md. - Goucher improved to 9-2 against non-conference opponents in the Sports & Recreation Center during head coach Michael Bossom's regime with a 3-0 victory over Washington Bible this evening.
Game scores were 30-13, 30-10, 30-13.
With 31 kills and only three errors in 70 total attempts, the Gophers (4-4) achieved a season-high .400 attack percentage for the match. Kasey Quinn (Ellicott City, MD/Centennial) led the team with nine kills, while Megan Smith (Honolulu, HI/Long Beach Polytechnic) and Claire Sauvage-Mar (New Dehli, India/American Embassy School) registered six apiece.
Sarah Kendall (North Plainfield, NJ/Rutgers Prep) led Goucher in digs (9) and service aces (7). At one point during the second game, the Gophers earned three consecutive points off of aces served by the senior libero.
