STEVENSON, Md. - Goucher has beaten Lincoln, Notre Dame (Md.) and Washington Bible twice apiece this season, but until tonight's 3-0 setback to Villa Julie, the Gophers hadn't lost to the same opponent two times in 2007.

Game scores were 30-15, 30-19, 30-15.

The Mustangs (20-10) also defeated Goucher, 3-0 (30-22, 30-28, 30-24), back on Sept. 8.

Megan Smith (Honolulu, HI/Long Beach Polytechnic) supplied the Gophers (17-12) with 11 kills. Sarah Kendall (North Plainfield, NJ/Rutgers Prep) led the team in digs (17) and Catie Ditmore (Santa Barbara, CA/Laguna Blanca) in assists (14).
