involved in a match that lasted only three sets this evening. The
Gophers wasted little time putting away Washington Bible, 3-0,
extending their winning streak to four matches.
Set scores were 25-8, 25-12, 25-14.
Catie Ditmore (Santa Barbara, Calif./Laguna Blanca) supplied the Gophers (4-2) with eight kills and finished the match with a .438 attack percentage. Megan Smith (Honolulu, Hawaii/Long Beach Polytechnic) and Kasey Quinn (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) added seven and six kills, respectively.
Defensively, Ashley Fan (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) was credited with a team-high 17 digs in the three-set match against the Cougars (1-5).
Service aces provided the Gophers with 19 of their points.
