With the win, head coach Michael Bossom's Gophers (16-11) improved to a season-best five matches over .500.
Megan Smith (Honolulu, Hawaii/Long Beach Polytechnic) finished with 17 kills and a .324 attack percentage in the victory, which extends Goucher's winning streak in the all-time series between the two schools to nine matches. Claire Sauvage-Mar (New Delhi, India/American Embassy School) was credited with team-high totals of 18 digs and 23 assists.
The Gophers served 17 aces against the Blazers (5-20), the second-most in any of their matches this season.
