Set scores were 24-26, 25-13, 25-13, 25-7.
Four different Goucher players reached double figures in kills: Megan Chalk (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) registered 14 kills, Trish Kallis (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) and Kristen Courage (Port Washington, N.Y./Paul D. Schreiber) added 11 apiece and Addie Lanzarotta (Los Angeles, Calif./Culver City) contributed 10 kills to the victory.
Chalk also led the Gophers (6-12) in digs with 22.
The .354 attack percentage is Goucher's highest for one match since the Gophers had 29 kills and only three attack errors in 58 attempts to finish at .448 against Washington Bible on Oct. 15, 2008. Tonight against the Gators (2-11), they compiled 47 kills and committed only 13 hitting errors in 96 chances.
Tori Rain (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) picked up assists on 42 of Goucher's 47 kills, matching her season-high total for one match.
