Landmark Releases Revised Weekend Volleyball Schedule

TOWSON, Md. -- Due to the ongoing federal government shutdown affecting the status of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, the Landmark Conference has announced several adjustments to this weekend's volleyball schedule.

Conference matches, which were originally scheduled to take place at USMMA on Oct. 19 and 20, will now be held at Catholic instead.

A new schedule has also been formulated preparing for the absence of USMMA. If the Academy is able to resume operations prior to this weekend, the conference will make other changes to fit USMMA back into the schedule and allow the school to make up as many matches as possible before the conference tournament begins on Nov. 5.

Goucher, which was previously slated to play USMMA and Scranton on the 19th, will now simply face off against Scranton at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Sunday's match against Juniata has also been moved up from 11 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
