With the defeat, the Gophers fell to 7-11 overall and 0-3 in the Landmark Conference, while Juniata improved to 12-3 and 3-0 in the Landmark with the victory.
Overall in the defeat for the Gophers, sophomore Greta Coss (Bowie, Md.) led the attack yet again, finishing with eight kills. Elsewhere, first-year Tes DeJaeger (Norwalk, Conn.) went into double-figures in the assist column for the 17th straight match after finishing with 10.
On the defensive end, first-year Cat Hartley (Colorado Springs, Colo.) led the way with 12 digs, while DeJaeger finished the contest with 11 digs of her own.
The Goucher College volleyball team returns to action on Friday evening, as they open a full weekend of matches inside the Decker SRC Arena with a contest against Hollins. First serve is set for 6 p.m.
