WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Goucher College volleyball team hit the road on Thursday night, and fell at Gallaudet in three sets in non-conference action (25-21, 25-16, 25-15).

With the defeat, the Gophers fell to 9-13 overall, while Gallaudet improved to 12-12 overall with the win.
In the defeat, sophomore Greta Coss (Bowie, Md.) once again led the Gopher attack, finishing with 11 kills, marking the ninth time on the season she has gone into double-figures in the kill column. Coss has also posted double-digit kills in four straight matches, as well.
Elsewhere, first-year Tes DeJaeger (Norwalk, Conn.) went well into double-figures setting up the Gophers attack all match, finishing with 22 assists, while also recording 10 digs. Leading Goucher in digs in the loss was fellow first-year Cat Hartley (Colorado Springs, Colo.), who finished with 12.
The Goucher College volleyball team returns to action on Saturday, as they travel to Alvernia for a single match. First serve is set for 3 p.m.
