HUNTINGDON, Pa. - The top-ranked and defending Division III national champion Juniata College women's volleyball team cruised past Goucher College in Landmark Conference action Friday night at Memorial Gymnasium. Set scores were 25-4, 25-4, 25-9.
The Eagles improved to 23-0 and 8-0 in conference play, while the Gophers are now 3-18 and 0-7 in the league.
Athena Savick had a team-high 10 digs for Goucher. Nicole Kovach posted three digs and is now 15 away from 1,000 for her career.
The Eagles hit .603 for the match while Goucher hit -.125.
Goucher is back in action Saturday, traveling to Lycoming College for a 2 pm Landmark Conference match.
