ST. MARY’S CITY, MD – Goucher concluded its 16-year affiliation with the Capital Athletic Conference as the leader in percentage of student-athletes who made the league’s 2006-07 All-Academic Team, which was unveiled today.

Coles Places 28th, Earns All-Region Honors
WAYNESBURG, PA — Fraley Coles (The Plains, VA/Highland School) became the first runner in the history of Goucher's women's cross country program to earn all-region honors when she placed 28th today at the 2006 NCAA Division III Mid-East Regional.

SALISBURY, MD — Fraley Coles (The Plains, VA/Highland School) ran the second-fastest 6,000-meter race in the history of the Goucher women's cross country program today to finish in 11th place at the 2006 Capital Athletic Conference Championships.

Gophers Earn 25-34 Victory Over Spartans
TOWSON, MD — Both teams had three runners among the top six finishers in today's dual meet, so it was the performance of the next four Goucher runners that ultimately allowed the Gophers to defeat York, 25-34.
