MADISON, N.J. — The Landmark Conference, which is in its fifth year of competition and is comprised of eight like-minded institutions in the mid-Atlantic region, today recognized 248 student-athletes for their academic accomplishments by placing them on the on the 2011 Fall Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll. Twenty-nine of the honorees are from Goucher.

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Goucher achieved its highest finish ever at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championship by finishing in a tie for 16th place today.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — For the second year in a row, Goucher produced the Female Rookie Runner of the Year in the Landmark Conference as head coaches throughout the conference voted that honor to freshman Katherine Currier (Brooklyn, N.Y./LaGuardia) today after she placed fifth at the 2011 Landmark Conference Women's Cross Country Championships.
MADISON, N.J. — A highly competitive cross country season will come to a head on Saturday when Goucher's two teams travel to Bethlehem, Pa., to compete in the 2011 Landmark Cross Country Championships on the Goodman Campus of Lehigh University.

TOWSON, Md. — The 2010-11 All-Goucher Team was introduced during a ceremony this afternoon on Beldon Field prior to the women's soccer team's Landmark Conference game against Susquehanna.

TOWSON, Md. — Goucher produced the individual champion, but finished second in the team scoring at last year's Goucher Cross Country Classic. That was reversed today at the 2011 edition of the event as freshman Katherine Currier (Brooklyn, N.Y./LaGuardia) was the runner-up in the 6,000-meter race, but the Gophers captured the team title.

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Goucher finished in 13th place with a team score of 412 points at today's DeSales Invitational, which gave the 41 competing teams a look at the same course that will be used next month for the NCAA Division III Mid-East Regional Championships.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Goucher placed fourth in a field of 39 teams in the Collegiate White race at today's Lehigh-Brooks-Paul Short Run with 235 points.
NEWVILLE, Pa. — Goucher's Katherine Currier (Brooklyn, N.Y./LaGuardia) set a new school record for a 4,000-meter race with her time of 16:11, which landed her in 12th place in the short course today at the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational.

MT. WOLF, Pa. — Goucher not only produced the individual champion today at the Coach Achtzehn Classic conducted at John Rudy County Park, but because four of her teammates were also among the top 10 finishers, the Gophers were also able to bring back the team title.
WESTMINSTER, Md. — Goucher finished in third place — behind only one other Division III program — and one of its first-year runners cracked the top 10 at today's Baltimore Metro Meet.

TOWSON, Md. — The honor of playing Goucher's first intercollegiate athletic contest at home during 2011-12 goes to field hockey, which launches its season against Notre Dame (Md.) on Beldon Field at 7 p.m. Thursday.
