Following right behind her was Junior Soliana Goldrich (Austin, TX), with a time of 26:04.82 for 27th. The Goucher women did not qualify to register a team score due to an ankle sprain by their number five runners.
Coach John Caslin, in reflecting on the women’s race, was pleased with the team’s performance overall and said "Kelly Johnson has made incredible strides in the last year. If she continues to work hard and runs a complete race, she has a legit shot at being all conference come October!"
