Sam Dylan Places 10th to Lead Gophers at Blazer Blitz

FREDERICK, Md. - First year Sam Dylan, making his collegiate debut for the Goucher College men's cross country team, placed 10th at the Blazer Blitz held Friday morning by Hood College at Utica Park.
Dylan ran a 4K time of 14:35.3 to take 10th in the field of 51 runners. Classmate Jair Smith finished 14th overall with a mark of 14:41.7.
Senior Sean Whitfield ran a time of 15:01.3 to come home in 20th.
The Goucher men's cross country team returns to action Saturday, September 23 when it competes at the Dickinson Long/Short Invite.
