WILLIAMSBURG, VA — Goucher's riding program not only
maintained its 19-point lead over Mary Washington in the IHSA Zone
IV Region I standings, but it also picked up three more regional
qualifiers today.
Goucher and Mary Washington both earned 38 points at today's show,
which was hosted by Christopher Newport. Therefore, Mary Washington
failed to gain any ground in the overall standings and Goucher will
take a 244-225 advantage into the final riding show of the season

The three Goucher riders who qualified today to compete at the

Bookman (Miami, FL/Oakley School) in walk-trot.
Goucher now has a total of eight regional qualifiers.
Goucher's Brittany Martin (Ocean City, MD/Worcester

rider standings after her first-place performance today in open
equitation over fences. Her season-long point total of 58 leaves
her 11 points behind the leader, Jessica Van Brocklin from Mary
Washington.
Two other Goucher riders received first-place honors from the
judges at today's show: Valerie Wiseman (Chapel Hill,
NC/Chapel Hill) in advanced walk-trot-cater and
