Goucher in 10th Place at Conclusion of Collegiate Cup

LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Collegiate Cup hunter seat competition concluded today at the 2016 IHSA National Horse Show. Goucher finished in 10th place with a total of five points.

Clea Lerner (Los Angeles, Calif./Renaissance Arts Academy) earned the bulk of Goucher's points on the opening day of the event, which is being conducted at The Kentucky Horse Park. Her third-place performance in novice equitation on the flat was worth four points.

On Friday, Sarah Lummis (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) picked up the remaining point by placing sixth in walk-trot-canter equitation.

Cary Hundley (Ellicott City, Md./Marriotts Ridge) represented the Gophers today in open flat. She placed seventh in the field of 16 competitors.
