Goucher Equestrian Announces Schedule Updates For Upcoming Season
BALTIMORE, Md. – Head coach Jen Smith has announced more dates for the upcoming 2019-20 Goucher College equestrian season.
Goucher will no longer be hosting the IHSA Zone IV Region I Championships. The event has been moved to the Stonegate Stables in Aldie, Va., on March 22.
In addition, Smith announced the dates for the ARNC National Championships and the IHSA National Championships. The ANRC National Championships will take place at the Swan Lake Stables in Littlestown, Pa., on April 9-11.
The Gophers will look to continue its success on the national level at the IHSA National Championships on April 29-May 3. In 2018-19, Cherise Madrid won the national championship in the walk trot at the IHSA National Championships at the New York State Fair Expo Center in Syracuse, N.Y. Goucher has had four national champions and three reserve national champions in team history. Graduate Wren Wakeman also performed at the IHSA National Championships, finishing fourth in the walk trot canter.
