Senior Spotlight: Equestrian Izzy Marini

Ladies and gentlemen, with today's Senior Spotlight we would like to thank a rider for her hard work and dedication to Goucher College and the equestrian program for the last three years! This senior hails from Taunton, Massachusetts, who placed in five events and won a competition each season in her career. This season she won the novice flat and placed third in the novice flat at two different events to qualify for the IHSA Zone IV Region I Championships. Majoring in business, ladies and gentlemen, Izzy Marini.

Ribboned in five events
Finished third in the novice flat at the Goucher IHSA Show on October 26
Won the pnovice flat at the George Mason/George Washington IHSA Show on November 3
Qualified for the IHSA Zone IV Region I Championships

2018-19

Ribboned in two events
Finished second in the walk trot canter at the Maryland/American IHSA Show on November 11
Won the walk trot canter at the Maryland/American IHSA Show on March 3

2017-18

Ribboned in one event
Won the walk trot canter at George Washington/George Mason IHSA Show on November 4

2016-17

Did not place
