Equestrian Places Sixth at Spring Classic Tournament of Champions

FINDLAY, Ohio - The Goucher College equestrian team finished sixth out of 15 competing schools at the Spring Classic Tournament of Champions hosted by the University of Findlay on Saturday.

Tournament of Champions events are comprised of the previous season's regional champions.  All teams competing Saturday are also currently leading their respective IHSA regions.

Skidmore College earned Champion honors, with Sacred Heart University Red earning Reserve Champion.  Findlay Orange placed third, followed by Sacred Heart White and Purdue University.

Kellen Sullivan took third in the High Collegiate Medal standings as he placed first in Open Fences and third in Open Flat.  Jacob Connell finished fourth in Intermediate Flat.

Cordelia Edwards earned a second-place finish in Limit Flat.  Christina Mlynarski finished fifth in Limit Fences, with Kristen Wilhelm taking third in Novice Flat.

Goucher returns to action at the IHSA Zone IV Championships hosted by Sweet Briar on Saturday, April 6.
