Equestrian Comes Out on Top at Their First Home Showing

TOWSON, Maryland- The Goucher College Equestrian Team hosted their IHSA show, and came out on top as the high point team this weekend over the University of Maryland.

The top two high point riders this weekend were Goucher's own Hope Verschleiser and Christina Mlynarski with a tie. Hope Verschleiser clinched 1st in open fences and in 3rd intermediate flat. Jacob Connell clinced 2nd in Open flat and 5th in the intermediate fences category. 

Christina Mlynarski won 1st in limit fences and 3rd in limit flat. Jocelyn Harris had a good showing with winning 1st in limit flat. Simcha McGowan earned 2nd in novice flat and Max Davis was 2nd in the intro category.

Goucher is back at home on Saturday, October 5, as they host their second at home show this fall.
