Men's Swimming Competes at Landmark Conference Championships

GERMANTOWN, MD- The Goucher men's swimming program currently sits fifth at the Landmark Conference Swimming & Diving Championships at the end of the first day.
Sophomore Blake Rhodes led the Gophers, finishing sixth in the 50 free with a time of 21.99. His performance earned Goucher 13 points on the night.
Senior Ben Shriner and freshman Michael Merworth raced in the 500-yard freestyle finishing fifth and seventh in their heat with times of 4:58.15 and 5:00.85, respectively.
The men received 28 points, their highest in an event on day one, after participating in the 400-yard medley relay.
Goucher, currently with 71 points, returns to Germantown Indoor Swim Center tomorrow morning at 10am to resume the Landmark Conference Championships.
