Men's Swimming Ends 2017 Portion of Schedule; Falls to Catholic at Home
TOWSON, Md.- The Goucher Men's Swimming Team hosted the Cardinals from Catholic University Saturday afternoon for a Landmark Conference Dual Meet. Catholic University defeated Goucher 208-48. The Gophers move to 1-5 thus far in the season.

-Ian Furst (North Reading, Ma.) took second place in the 100-Freestyle with a time of 11:15.34.
-Jerel McCord (Ft. Wayne, In.) placed second in the 100-Butterfly with a time of 54.22.
-Finishing in third place on the day was Eli Gang (Highland Park, N.J.) in the in the 100-Freestyle (55.57), Troy Thompson (Nashville, Tenn.) in the 50-Freestyle (25.04), Hugh MacConvery (Lilburn, Ga.) in the 50-Breaststroke (32.88), and Andrew Rowland (Wilton, Conn.) in the 50-Backstroke (30.53).
The men also took third place in the 200-Medley Relay with a team of McCord, MacConvery, Rowland, and Andrew Ackerman (North Brunswick, N.J.) and a time of 1:52.92.
The men hit the pool again on January 13th and travel to Marywood at 2 pm.
