Bio

  • Begins 26th season as the men’s and women’ swimming head coach in 2023-24
  • Serves as the Aquatics Director and Associate Director of Athletics
    and is responsible for payroll operations, academic support, and acts
    as the liaison between Goucher College athletics and admissions
  • Coached All-American Morgan Richter, who finished eighth in the butterfly
    at the 2016 NCAA Division III Championships
  • Assisted in the development of a Capital Athletic Conference Women’s Swimming
    Rookie and a two-time Swimmer of the Year (Stephanie LaGue), a Landmark
    Conference Co-Women’s Swimmer of the Year (Britt Hogstrom) and a Landmark
    Conference Male Swimmer of the Year (Morgan Richter)
  • Mentored 21 men’s all-conference selections (1 All-Capital Athletic Conference
    Second Team; 12 All-Landmark Conference First Team; 18 All-Landmark
    Conference Second Team)
  • Coached 48 women all-conference selections (3 All-Capital Athletic Conference
    First Team; 9 All-Capital Athletic Conference Second Team; 19 All-Landmark
    Conference First Team; 17 All-Landmark Conference Second Team)
  • Named the Capital Athletic Conference Women’s Swimming Coach of the
    Year in 2001-02 and 2004-05
  • Served as the chairman of the NCAA Championship Committee from 2008-10

  • Served as an assistant coach at The College of New Jersey
  • Served as an assistant coach at Florida Atlantic University

  • Graduated from The College of New Jersey in 1995
  • Earned his Master’s Degree from The College of New Jersey
  • An eight-time All-American for swimming
  • Inducted into The College of New Jersey Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008

  • Daughter Madeline attends University of Rhode Island and son Sam is a senior in Towson High School
