MADISON, N.J. — The Landmark Conference today announced the names of the 32 student-athletes who make up the 2011 Winter Landmark All-Academic Team, which recognizes two male and two female athletes who have excelled athletically and academically from each of the eight Landmark institutions.

MADISON, N.J. — The Landmark Conference, which is in its fourth year of competition and is comprised of eight like-minded institutions in the mid-Atlantic region, today recognized 202 student-athletes for their academic accomplishments by placing them on the 2011 Winter Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll. Fourteen of the honorees are from Goucher.
SELINSGROVE, Pa. — Goucher's Doug Falk (Barnegat, N.J./Barnegat Twp.) shared first place in the distance medley relay with three of his teammates today at the 2011 Landmark Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships. He also shared the conference's Rookie of the Year award with a pair of freshmen from other institutions.

CARLISLE, Pa. — Goucher's Chris Litz (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll) was the top performer in the pole vault at the DuCharme Invitational today.

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. — Goucher's Joey Negreann (Denver, Colo./Cherry Creek) was the first runner in a field of 19 to cross the finish line in the 5,000 meters today at the Frank Colden Invitational.

ANNVILLE, Pa. — Record-breaking performances by Joey Negreann (Denver, Colo./Cherry Creek) and Troy Browne (Springdale, Md./C.H. Flowers) accounted for two of the five first places realized by Goucher athletes at today's Lebanon Valley Indoor Invitational.
NEW ORLEANS, La. — Goucher's men's indoor track and field program debuted in the top 20 in the region and the top 100 in the nation and senior pole vaulter Chris Litz (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll) shares the top spot in the individual regional rankings for his specialty.

MADISON, N.J. — Goucher's Chris Litz (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll), who outperformed all entrants in the pole vault competition at the Delaware Invitational on Friday, was named Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week by the Landmark Conference today for the seven-day period beginning January 3.

NEWARK, Del. — Goucher's Chris Litz (Bel Air, Md./John Carroll) not only took first place among Division II/III athletes in the pole vault competition at today's Delaware Invitational, but the senior also outperformed all of the Division I entrants.

PRINCETON, N.J. — The all-time fastest times in the history of Goucher's men's indoor track and field program in three events were bested today at the New Year's Invitational.
