Goucher Women's Swimming Named to The CSCAA Scholar All-America Team For Fall Semester
BALTIMORE, Md. – Goucher College women's swimming team has been named a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for the fall 2019 semester. The Gophers received the honor after posting a 3.38 grade-point average for the fall semester.
"The Goucher College women's swimming team continues to excel in the classroom and we take great pride in all they do in and out of the water," said Goucher women's swimming head coach Tom Till.
The teams were selected by the CSCAA's Scholar All-America committee on the basis of their fall grade point averages and represent 17,685 student-athletes and a record 762 programs from 480 institutions. To earn the honor, teams were required to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the fall semester and maintain a roster of 12 or more student-athletes.
Founded in 1922, the CSCAA – the oldest organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
