Goucher Men's And Women's Swimming Squads Named to The CSCAA Scholar All-America Team For Spring Semester
BALTIMORE, Md. – The Goucher College men's and women's swimming teams have been named a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for the spring 2020 semester.
"We are always very proud when our student-athletes perform well in the classroom and this team honor recognizes the efforts our swimmers committed to during this challenging semester," said swimming head coach Tom Till. "While no team was unaffected by the spring's COVID pandemic, Goucher College can be proud of the work from our swimming teams."
Goucher was one of 461 schools to receive the award for the spring semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their spring grade point averages and represent 17,982 student-athletes. To earn the honor, teams were required to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the spring semester.
Founded in 1922, the CSCAA – the oldest organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
