Darcy McFarland, Ella Robinson Collect CSC Academic All-District Honors

TOWSON, Md. - Senior Darcy McFarland and junior Ella Robinson of the Goucher College women's swimming team have each been named to the 2023-24 Academic All-District Team selected by College Sports Communicators, it was announced on Tuesday afternoon.

McFarland is a senior chemistry major from East Hampton, New York, while Robinson, who earned the honor for the second straight year, is a junior literary studies major.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District, a student-athlete must be a starter or an important reserve and have at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average.

The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 23.
