Track and Field Participates in DuCharme Invitational as Tune-Up Before Landmark Championships

THE MEET SCOOP

The DuCharme Invitational is hosted by Dickinson College. At last year's meet, Dickinson won for the men (200 points) and the women (185 points). Fellow Landmark Conference teams, Elizabethtown, Scranton, and Juniata, also participated in the meet in 2019.

LAST TIME OUT

Anna Gallina (Whitehall, Pa. / Whitehall) won first place in the 55m. Her time was 7.79. Neli La Court Ruiz (York, Pa. / Northeastern) finished fourth in the same race with a time of 7.94.

Gallina, along with Sydney Smith (Falls Church, Va. / George Mason HS), Victoria Wheeler (Kinnelon, N.J. / Kinnelon), and Michell Wolinsky, competed in the 4x400 relay. The team finished in second with a time of 4:45.21.

Joel Gladney (Perry Hall, Md. / Perry Hall) was third in the shot put. He reached the 11.46m mark. Right behind him was Brandon Julot (Baltimore, Md. / The SEED School). Julot shot 11.39m to finish fourth.
