Gophers Compete At Twilight Meet

York, Pa.- Goucher traveled to York College to compete in there Twilight Meet. The women took first and second place in the 400 meter. Tanise Thornton-Fillyaw won with a time of 58.07 and Nancy Nyadongo placed second. In the women's 800 meter Terrica Thornton-Fillyaw won with a time of 2:23.08. Nyadongo also placed first in the 200 meter running a time of 25.23. The women's 4 by 800 relay placed second with a time of 10:02.62. In the field events Aryanna Paulena won the women's high jump and she placed second place in the pole vault. 

The men had three finishes in the top 10 during the 1500 meter. Jayden Keels snagged sixth place, Sam Dylan placed eighth, and Jair Smith placed ninth. Jermaine Horsey placed fifth in the 100 meters. In the high jump Bradford Ferrante placed third. Freshman, Nehemiah Covington, placed third in the shot put.
