ST. MARYS CITY, MD Goucher concluded its 16-year affiliation with the Capital Athletic Conference as the leader in percentage of student-athletes who made the leagues 2006-07 All-Academic Team, which was unveiled today.

ARLINGTON, VA Goucher was bounced from the Capital Athletic Conference championship tournament in the opening round for the ninth time in the past 10 years when the Gophers suffered an 80-54 loss this evening to second-seeded Marymount.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA Shadae Swan (Baltimore, MD/St. Frances Academy) is Goucher's leading scorer in 2006-07, averaging nearly 21 points per game. But for nearly the first 15 minutes of today's Capital Athletic Conference contest against Mary Washington, she was the Gophers' only scorer.
