Landmark Reveals 2008-09 Winter All-Academic Team
MADISON, N.J. - The Landmark Conference today announced the names of the 32 student-athletes who make up the 2009 Winter Landmark All-Academic Team, which recognizes two male and two female athletes who have excelled athletically and academically from each of the eight Landmark institutions.

MADISON, N.J. – Goucher's Amber Smith (Baltimore, Md./Institute of Notre Dame), who averaged 14.3 points and 9.4 rebounds per game, is a second-team selection at forward on the 2008-09 All-Landmark Conference Women's Basketball Team, which was unveiled today.

Gophers Knock Off Cardinals, Put End to Skid

Skid Reaches 10 Games with Second Loss to Scranton
SCRANTON, Pa. – Goucher's current losing streak dates back to a 63-47 setback to Scranton on January 16. Today that skid reached 10 games when the Gophers were beaten by the Lady Royals for a second time this season, 81-58.

Shooting Goes South, Gophers Bow to Mariners
TOWSON, Md. – Goucher couldn't duplicate its 10-for-25 shooting performance during the opening 20:00 of tonight's Landmark Conference game against Merchant Marine that produced a one-point lead at the break. In the second half, the Gophers were just 7-for-31 from the field (.226) and allowed the Mariners to emerge with a 60-52 victory.
