Women's Basketball Defeats Trinity Washington by 50 Points

Freshman Alayna McFadden (Silver Spring, Md.) led the team in points for the second time this season, racking up a total of 23 during her 33 minutes of play. McFadden made 10 field goals, one of which was a three-pointer, and went 2-4 from the line. Senior Nicole Wolard (Tampa, Fla.) had her highest scoring game of the season so far, tallying 19 points. Wolard was 7-13 from the field and 5-10 from the line.
Other impressive performers were Erica Boozer (Odenton, Md.) and Anise Williams (West Palm Beach, Fla.) with 16 and 14 points, respectively.
This win is the third in a row for Goucher this season, drastically improving on their 0-25 record in 2017-18.
The Gophers will be back in action on Saturday, December 1 at 2 PM, as they travel to Scranton for their first Landmark Conference contest of the season.
