Women’s Basketball Takes A Loss Against Undefeated Manhattanville
PURCHASE, N.Y. - On December 29th the 2018-19 women’s basketball team traveled to New York to take on the undefeated Manhattanville College Valiants. With a final score of 85-43, the Gophers fell to 4-6 on the year.

Even in the loss, freshman Alayna McFadden (Silver Spring, Md.) put up 14 points. McFadden went 2-6 on three-pointers, scored four additional baskets, and led the team with 12 rebounds, nine of which were defensive. McFadden's 12 rebounds tied for the most on the day with Manhattanville's Ali Mikaele.
Senior Nicole Wolard (Tampa, Fla.) scored 10 points in the contest, going 6-10 from the line. Wolard tallied 8 offensive rebounds, leading all players in the OREB category.
The Gophers will be back in action on December 30th against Yeshiva College at 1 PM.
